Individual insurance companies and their plans may be able to provide you with a wider range of geographical coverage options; however, Worldwide and Worldwide Excluding the USA are usually included on plans available from Abu Dhabi Health Insurance.

Healthcare treatment in the United States of America is extremely expensive and the cost of receiving medical treatment there is, on average, the highest in the world and this is why many insurance companies will offer global coverage that excludes the USA. If you do not intend to spend a considerable amount of time in the USA, it may be worthwhile considering a plan that does not offer coverage there.
